The EPT’s school improvement offer is led by our Director of Education, an experienced and well-established school leader with extensive school leadership experience across a wide range of settings. He has successfully led an EPT school from ‘requires improvement’ to ‘Outstanding’ and is an experienced Ofsted inspector trained to inspect secondary, primary, special and alternative provision settings.

We have proven approaches to systematically improving schools across the primary and secondary phases in mainstream, special and alternative education settings. We support schools to meet their individual needs, guided by our Trust polices, principles and experience of delivering sustained improvement.

Through evidence-based self-evaluation leaders identify the key priorities to improve, enabling success to be carefully engineered over time. Schools are then supported to take appropriate action by an experienced team of leaders in the Trust, working alongside our established external improvement partners.

This important work is supported by regular input from leaders across the Trust and external advisors, delivered in a collaborative and solution focussed way.
